We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, business name, and payment information when you register. We also collect information about your customers and jobs that you enter into the platform. Additionally, we automatically collect usage data, log files, device information, and cookies when you use the Service.
We use the information we collect to provide, operate, and improve Yard HQ. This includes processing payments through Stripe, sending SMS messages via Twilio on your behalf, generating invoices, scheduling jobs, and providing customer support. We may also use aggregated, anonymized data to analyze usage trends and improve our Service.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted third-party service providers necessary to operate the platform, including Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS), Supabase (database and authentication), and Vercel (hosting). Each provider is bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Information about your customers that you enter into Yard HQ — including names, phone numbers, addresses, and service history — belongs to you. We process this data only to provide the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate legal basis to store and process your customers' personal information.
When you use Yard HQ's SMS features to contact your customers, those messages are sent via Twilio. You are responsible for obtaining proper consent from recipients before sending marketing or transactional messages. Yard HQ does not use your customers' phone numbers for our own marketing purposes.
All payment processing is handled by Stripe. Yard HQ does not store your full credit card numbers or bank account details. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of payment data. You can review it at stripe.com/privacy.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance reasons.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security in our database, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session, remember preferences, and analyze usage. You can instruct your browser to refuse cookies, but some parts of the Service may not function properly without them.
