By accessing or using Yard HQ ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including lawn care business owners, employees, and customers accessing the platform.
Yard HQ is a business management platform designed for lawn care and landscaping companies. The Service includes job scheduling, customer management, invoicing, payment processing via Stripe Connect, SMS communications via Twilio, crew dispatch, and related tools.
You must create an account to use Yard HQ. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate and current information during registration and to update it as necessary.
Yard HQ offers a Free plan and a Pro plan ($49.99/month). All plans include a per-transaction platform fee: $1.00 on Free, $0.50 on Pro. Free plan includes up to 100 SMS messages per month. Pro plan includes 500 SMS per month; additional SMS messages are billed at $0.05 each. Payments are processed through Stripe Connect. Yard HQ is not responsible for payment disputes between you and your customers. Subscription fees are billed monthly and are non-refundable except where required by law.
By using Yard HQ's SMS features, you agree to comply with all applicable laws including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). You are solely responsible for obtaining proper consent from your customers before sending them SMS messages through the platform. Yard HQ provides the infrastructure but is not liable for the content of messages you send.
You agree not to use Yard HQ for any unlawful purpose, to spam customers, to transmit harmful or misleading content, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Your use of Yard HQ is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and store business data, customer information, and usage data to provide and improve the Service. We do not sell your data to third parties. Customer data you enter into Yard HQ remains yours.
All content, branding, software, and features of Yard HQ are the intellectual property of Yard HQ and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without written permission.
Yard HQ is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yard HQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost revenue, missed jobs, or failed payments.
You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease and your data may be deleted after 30 days.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
